Who it is for. Any recovery residence operating in Arkansas, whether a single home or an organization running several, that is prepared to operate to NARR Standard 3.0 at one of the four NARR levels. Nonprofit and for-profit operators can both apply. New operators are welcome; the Startup Guide is written for you, and we would rather you read it before you apply than after. The inquiry form asks about your residence, including whether residents are already in place, so AARR can advise on timing.
What it costs. A one-time application fee of $150, a one-time organizational credentialing fee of $300, and $200 for each residence certified. The application and credentialing fees are paid once no matter how many homes you certify.
The five steps. Review NARR Standard 3.0 and the certification requirements. Submit the online inquiry; it doubles as the prescreen, and AARR follows up by email within five business days, usually to verify insurance and confirm readiness. Complete the online certification training. Submit your application package: resident handbook, staff manual, policies, and property documentation. Then the two review phases, a document review and an on-site assessment, after which you sign the Compliance Agreement and your residence is listed in the AARR directory and the NARR national directory.
